What materials is this dock made from?
The dock features a reinforced marine-grade PVC body with high-pressure drop stitch construction for exceptional rigidity. The deck surface is covered with premium non-slip EVA foam, providing comfort and safety in both freshwater and saltwater environments.
How do I inflate the dock? How long does it take?
Your dock comes with a high-pressure hand pump and a quick inflation/deflation valve. Connect the pump hose to the valve and inflate to the recommended pressure (typically 4–6 PSI for drop-stitch docks). Inflation usually takes 10–15 minutes depending on your pumping speed. For faster setup, a compatible electric pump can also be used.
How do I know when it's inflated enough?
The dock should feel firm and rigid with minimal flex when you step on it. Drop-stitch construction creates a hard, platform-like surface when properly inflated. Avoid over-inflation beyond recommended PSI.
What causes bubbles under the EVA deck pad?
Small bubbles can form when air gets trapped between the deck and the EVA pad, expanding with temperature changes. This is easily fixed by using a needle to puncture the bubble and release the trapped air—the adhesive will reattach naturally.
Is this dock safe for children and pets?
Yes, the stable platform and non-slip EVA surface make it suitable for family use. As with any water activity, children should be supervised at all times, and life jackets are recommended for non-swimmers.
