Sea-Doo Fish Pro equipped with an AirJain collar on the water in Costa Rica
AirJain owner story / Costa Rica Sea-Doo Fish Pro × Gulf of Papagayo
From first ride to hidden beaches.
One jet ski tour sparked the idea. A Sea-Doo Fish Pro, an AirJain Collar and a first run from Coco Beach turned it into a new way to explore Costa Rica’s Pacific coast.

The story in one line
A fun day on Lake Arenal became a bigger plan: use a personal watercraft to reach quiet beaches, find new fishing water and create snorkeling adventures along the Costa Rican coast.
How it started
A tour became a new obsession.
Earlier in the year, the team behind Mytanfeet.com joined a jet ski tour on Lake Arenal. The speed, access and simple fun of a personal watercraft made an immediate impression.
When an opportunity later came up to purchase a Sea-Doo Fish Pro through BRP Costa Rica, they were ready. The fishing-focused PWC was then outfitted with an AirJain Collar and prepared for its first coastal outing.
The spark
Lake Arenal jet ski tour
A first experience showed how much fun and freedom a personal watercraft could offer.
The build
Sea-Doo Fish Pro + AirJain
A purpose-built fishing platform gained a cushioned inflatable collar around its perimeter.
The first run
Coco Beach to Papagayo
The new setup headed out to familiar Gulf spots and several beaches before the weather turned.

Launch day
Out from Coco Beach.
For its first outing, the Fish Pro launched from Coco Beach and headed into the Gulf of Papagayo. The route followed favorite local spots and included stops at several beaches.
The timing also captured Costa Rica at its greenest. Lush hills framed the water, clouds built over the coast and the new PWC settled into its role as a compact exploration platform.
The outfitting choice
Why add an AirJain Collar?
Trips built around fishing, snorkeling and beach access ask more from a PWC than a quick solo ride. The inflatable collar adds a practical cushioned perimeter for the moments between open-water runs.
01
A softer perimeter
The inflatable tube creates a buffer along the sides and bow when approaching a dock, boat or sheltered beach.
02
Useful around gear
Fishing and snorkeling involve coolers, rods, masks and repeated boarding. A protected edge suits that equipment-heavy routine.
03
Built for the next stop
The setup supports an exploration mindset: ride, slow down, approach carefully and spend time at places reached from the water.
The real destination
Small beaches beyond the road.
The goal is bigger than owning a new PWC. The Fish Pro will be used to look for hidden beaches around the gulf and to build new fishing and snorkeling stories.
That is where a personal watercraft changes the map. A quiet strip of sand, a green headland or a clear patch of water becomes a possible stop rather than scenery viewed from a distance.

⚡
The weather set the return time.
The group made it back just as lightning and storm conditions began. It is a small detail in the original story, but an important one: coastal plans remain flexible, especially when clouds are building over warm tropical water.
Trip habit: Check the marine forecast before launch, watch the sky during the ride and leave enough time to return before conditions reach the launch area.
What comes next
More Sea-Doo days ahead.
The first trip proved the concept. Future outings will turn the Fish Pro into a platform for three kinds of coastal content.
01
Hidden-beach scouting
Revisit known favorites and look for quiet shoreline stops around the gulf.
02
Fishing trips
Use the Fish Pro’s fishing layout to explore new water and document the experience.
03
Snorkeling access
Carry compact gear to sheltered spots that make sense to approach from the water.
Build your own setup
Give your Sea-Doo a protected perimeter.
Check the collar option for your exact model and year before ordering, especially when fishing accessories, racks or rear platforms are already installed.
